Definitions of terms used in SwiftCareer.
Tailored CV
A CV adjusted to match the requirements of a specific job. It is customized using keywords from the job description and highlighting matching points.
Cover Letter
A short letter sent with your job application that highlights your fit and motivation. Usually one page and tailored to each job.
Portfolio
A showcase page displaying your projects and achievements. Useful for technical or project-based roles. Generated automatically from your project data.
Template
The visual design and layout of your CV. SwiftCareer offers 8 professional templates: Modern, Minimal, Professional, Technical, Executive, Two-Column, Classic, Creative.
Credits
Units used to power AI features in SwiftCareer. Each AI action (job analysis, creating a tailored CV, etc.) consumes credits.
Job Analysis
The process of analyzing a job description to extract requirements, keywords, and important information. Performed automatically when entering a job description.
Match Analysis
A comparison between your profile and job requirements to identify matching points and gaps. Helps you understand how well you fit the job.
Missing Skills
Skills that the job requires but are not present in your CV or profile. Displayed after match analysis.
Match Score
A percentage expressing how well you match the job. Calculated based on skills, summary, and experience. The higher the score, the better you fit the job.
Chat Workspace
The main area where you interact with the AI assistant about jobs and CV tailoring. Messages appear as different types of cards.
CV Visual Editor
An editing tool that allows you to edit your CV with a live preview in real-time. Divided into content editors (left) and preview (right).
Tailored CV Panel
A panel in the CV editor that applies job-specific customizations. Improves the summary, reorders skills, and emphasizes relevant achievements.
Cover Letter Panel
A panel in the CV editor that allows you to create and edit a cover letter tailored to the job.
Quick Edit Sheet
A popup window that allows you to make quick edits to your CV without leaving the preview.
PDF Export
Converting your CV to a PDF file ready for printing or sending.
Referral Program
A program that allows you to share a referral link with others. When someone signs up using your link, you get additional credits.
